Cherokee Central Schools' student support services include prevention, intervention, and follow-up services for students and families.
Student support services professionals provide direct services for all children and youth, especially those who are experiencing problems that create barriers to learning. Direct services are provided by means such as education, counseling, consultation and individual assessment.
Student support services includes the school counselors and school social worker as professional personnel involved in providing assessment, diagnosis, counselors are assigned to the high school, middle school, and elementary. The school social worker provides services to all three schools
